Harry Potter Blogfest - Who are your mates?



The fabulous Michael, over at In Time, is hosting this fun Harry Potter blogfest. In his words:

It's quite simple. All you have to do is choose which two characters would be YOUR best mates at Hogwarts. You can use any student characters from any book.

My best friends at Hogwarts are definitely Fred and George Weasley. In fact, since they left Hogwarts we've become good friends. We have so much in common, you see. I left school in pretty much the same way they did, and I was always in trouble at school, wilfully flouting the rules for the sake of a bit of fun. Since we've been friends, of course, we've been pretty much out of control. It's because we encourage each other down that path, and the outcome is always the same. Trouble.

I never have any money these days, as I spend it all on fun tricks and jokes, but I'm happy, and with Fred and George I have many happy hours making muggles fall in a lake, or fixing their saucepans to the cooker. Laugh! Really, you should try it.

    Oh, those twins are a great choice! I'm sort of sweet on George, myself... He always lets me have the extra earring *shifty* But yes... fun to have some trouble-making friends... (especially trouble makers that are paying their own way--lotta trouble makers try to mooch off you, but not them...

    In IRL I knew triplets in school. They were crazy enough but I can't even imagine magic using twins!

    I love Fred and George too. In my youth, I was such a serious person when it came to school. Now however, I realize life is one big trick on all of us.

    Fred and George were my mates, too! Well someone had to keep you three in line...lol.

    Yes, I loved the mischief, but I thankfully had a bit more sense and, on occasion, was the voice of reason.

    I most definitely want to meet up with you fellas at the Leaky Cauldron some time. Maybe after throwing back a few pints we can sneak a frou frou pie w/ whipped cream into the movie theater! ;)

    Great choices. Fred and George would be the most loyal friends with a joke and laugh to cheer up even the lowliest of days. Poor, but happy! The only way to be!

    Neville Longbottom comes into his own in the final film/last book, which made me very happy. :O)
